Superdrug News Update: Innovative New Hair Products Developed

Superdrug M&H

Superdrug news update: The high street cosmetics company have looked to continue their run of innovative beauty products with a new range of hair products.

“Superdrug has long been renowned for launching innovative beauty products and their latest new range is no exception. Style Expertise is a collection of professional hair styling products especially designed to deliver results that help hair stand out from the crowd.

M&H Plastics worked alongside Superdrug and their contract filler Mibelle to produce a stunning range of products all manufactured in rich metallic-effect packaging which conveys the end benefit – silky smooth, shiny hair. All products are a bright turquoise colour with natural coloured closures giving a fresh contemporary look.

Superdrug selected from M&H’s standard portfolio of products. The HDPE bottles are all Boston Rounds. In addition are two 35mm diameter Polyethylene tubes which M&H printed in-house, including silver foil blocking of the Superdrug logo.

The collection includes:
• 100ml Salt Infusion Surf Spray
• 200ml Sculpted Gel Spray
• 300ml Protecting Heat Styling Spray
• 150ml Straight Cream
• 150ml Curl Cream

Heather West, Customer Service Manager at M&H said: “It’s been a pleasure working with Mibelle on this exciting new launch. Together we have selected products from our extensive range and helped turn them into irresistible must-have products at cost effective prices!”

M&H has over 1,200 standard products, plus a full custom moulding service for exclusive design. Virtually everything is conducted in-house, on site, from concept design, through tool-making, production, artwork and decoration.”

Superdrug are a major rival to the other major cosmetic and pharmaceutical company who feature on the UK high street and this innovative product will make that rivalry just a little stronger. It is a common perception that Superdrug are the cheaper alternative to Boots but in fact the more accurate comparison sees the former as the more diverse stockist. Their products strive to offer those who like to stand out from the crowd the opportunity to do just that whereas Boots are more focussed on offering the necessities as well as a range of high end cosmetics.
