Gatwick News Update: New Lebanese Restaurant Opens. This summer has seen the opening of a Lebanese restaurant, Comptoir Libanais, within Gatwick airport.
This is the first airport restaurant for the Lebanese food chain and the restaurant has been heralded as offering its customers an authentic setting in a canteen style eating area with affordable and healthy food choices. This follows Gatwick’s’ dedication to offer a more diverse selection of food options and a higher quality of food choices for customers visiting the airport. The menu offered by the Lebanese restaurant includes the choice of Halal dishes and a wide variety of vegetarian options. It also offers children’s smaller portions and the option of a take away service.
The stylish Lebanese eatery is sure to be a hit with customers visiting Gatwick airport as it offers up the delight of aromatic Middle Eastern cooking in the North Terminal of Gatwick. The restaurant is due to open later this year.

The restaurant will be offering healthy varied choices and will start with the offer of a Lebanese breakfast through to a delicious choice of Lebanese pastries and coffee as well as a quick snack or a casual dinner. The food offered will be served fresh and will be delivered speedily with passenger’s imminent travel in mind. The restaurant will also offer food to take away so that it can be taken on board to eat later in aircraft packaging that is easy-to-carry.
The restaurant at Gatwick will be 1,800 square foot and will be run by TRG Concessions. The décor will have Middle Eastern patterned tiles and bring a modern Lebanese ambiance to the eating area. As well as enjoying the delicious food, diners will also be able to buy a range of Middle Eastern themed products that will range from teapots and lanterns to handbags and even ingredients for making your own authentic Lebanese dish.
