Epson News Update: Epson Support Earthquake Victims. Following news of a very severe earthquake that hit Bohol in the Philippines, Epson offer a donation.

The earthquake that struck on the fifteenth of October occurred on the Island of Bohol and affected surrounding areas in the central part of the Philippines. Epson offered their sympathy to everyone who had been affected by the natural disaster and added that it wished fervently that all concerned would be able to make a speedy recovery and resume their normal lives as soon as possible. The companies Epson Precision, Philippine division, Seiko Epson Corporation and Epson Philippines Corporation announced that they would be donating one million Php to the disaster fund. That amount is equivalent to approximately twenty three thousand American dollars.

The donation was made through Philippine Business for Social Progress a non-profit making organisation. As well as giving the fund a donation Epson employees will be adding manpower to the recovery efforts with relief goods being distributed to the affected areas.
